Smoked Salmon with Quinoa, Brown Rice & Vegetables

Smoked Salmon with Quinoa, Brown Rice & Vegetables

Serves: 1

Preperation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time:10-20 minutes

Ingredients:

180g Pacific West Smoked Atlantic Salmon Portions #29032

150g Edgell Quinoa with Brown Rice and Vegetables #28842

Oil

Salt & Pepper

Sliced Lemon Wedge

Parsley for garnish

Method:

Qunioa with Brown Rice and Vegetables – Combi Oven:

  1. Preheat Combi Oven to 160 degrees with 60% dry and 40% steam heat
  2. From frozen, heat the grain mix in a gastronome tray for 10 minutes and then stir
  3. Heat for a further 10 minutes and stir

Qunioa with Brown Rice and Vegetables – Pan Fry:

  1. Preheat pan over a medium heat
  2. Coat the pan with 1 teaspoon of oil
  3. From frozen, cook the grain mix in a frypan with the lid on for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally
  4. Season to taste

Pan fry salmon fillets in an oiled frypan until golden on both sides and cooked to order.

Season to taste both the Quinoa, Brown Rice and Vegetable grain mix and the Smoked Atlantic Salmon and serve with wedge of lemon and parsley garnish
